A claw set amethyst accompanied by six closed set round, brilliant cut diamonds with a further two diamonds to the shoulders.The piece is composed of contrasting yellow & white gold, with gold braid trim accenting. Further detail is continued to the reverse for additional comfort.

In accordance to Greek Myth, amethyst was created by, Bacchus – the Greek God of intoxication. His pursuit of a woman, called, Amethyste was rebuked. The goddess , Diana responded by turning Amethyste to a white stone. In his shame, Bacchus poured wine over the stone statue turning it purple..........
